DURANGO – The 2019 spring schedule has been set. The skyhawks face another season of stiff competition and long road trips along the way to the conference championship tournament.
The season starts early this year as the Skyhawks have agreed to meet Utah State and Wyoming for a weekend of neutral site games in Moab, Utah, in what might be the first lacrosse games ever played in the desert town surrounded by national parks.
After a week of recovery, the team will hit the road again, playing three games in southern California. The trip starts with Loyola Marymount on March 6th, then Cal State Long Beach the following night before ending the trip against California Irvine on Saturday March 9th.
The team then turns its focus to division play with a game at CU-Denver to conclude March.
The following weekend, Metro State and Northern Arizona come to Durango for the two home games on the schedule. The regular season concludes in Golden, as the Skyhawks face Colorado Mines.
The skyhawks must win two out of three against CU-Denver, Metro, and Mines to qualify for the RMLC Tournament the last weekend of April.
