National #23 ranked Fort Lewis Men’s Lacrosse defeated the UNM Lobos 12-2 in rainy Flagstaff, AZ to start their season 2-0. Working against a solid zone defense and a hot goalie, the Fort could manage only 12 goals despite over 40 shots on the game. The Skyhawk attack was led by freshman attackman Conor Henricks 4 goals and 2 assists, and a team effort that saw assists on 10 of the 12 goals. The defense was a dominant team effort, led by the aggressive play of junior captains Tim Topper and Shaun Koenig. The team travels to Denver next weekend to take on conference opponents Colorado Mines and Metro State. The first home game for Fort Lax is Tuesday 3/11 at 5:00 pm against Utah State on Cedar Field.
I thought the USU game is at 5pm, not 4?
