DURANGO — The Skyhawks men’s lacrosse team will be hosting Recruiting Weekend, a youth clinic, and the annual alumni game on October 14-15. The annual weekend event serves as a showcase of the program with members past, present, and future coming together to celebrate past accomplishments and help guide the current team into another successful season, culminating in the Skyhawk Hall of Fame induction at the conclusion of the alumni game.
The event will mark the second consecutive year the skyhawks are hosting such a weekend, with a dozen recruits expected to attend. Prospective student-athletes should register via the ‘recruiting’ page on this site. Attendees can expect an official tour on Friday followed by a meeting with coaches. That evening, attendees are welcome to join a team dinner and stay on campus with members of the current team.
Saturday morning, youth players ages 9-15 are welcome to attend a free clinic from 9:00am-10:30am at the Smith Complex, hosted and ran by players and coaches of the FLC men’s lacrosse team. At the conclusion, teams will setup and play the alumni game, with faceoff at 11am. Attendees of recruiting weekend are welcome to join all events. After party at J.Bo’s Pizza.
