DURANGO – The 2018 Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference All-Conference teams have been announced. Junior Scott Dimmitt and freshman Connor Worrall were the two selections from the Skyhawks, both being named as Honorable Mention selections.
Dimmitt, a native of Ocean Grove, New Jersey led the team in points finishing with 22 goals and 10 assists. Scott was also the captain of the team, and highlighted this year with a 7 point performance against Regis, a 6 point performance against UCCS, and 4 points in three other games.
“Scott was our leader from the beginning of the year, his contributions were recognized on the field were recognized by the conference but his biggest contributions were seen off the field and in the locker room.” Coach Mudrak said of the rising senior.
Freshman Connor Worrall showed his ability early and often for Fort Lewis, the Pennsylvania product flashed speed and skill that caught the attention of coaches across the conference this year. Finishing with 18 points, good for second on the team, Connor posted at least 3 points in three games this year, including a hat trick against Colorado-Denver.
“Connor is one of the most talented players in our conference.” Coach Mudrak noted. “He’s a kid who is going to be looked to in the future to lead this team. He showed a lot of maturity for a freshman and we’re all looking forward to seeing him progress as he continues his career.”
