On a chilly Tuesday night at the University of California SanDiego the Fort Lewis Skyhawks club lacrosse team defeated UCSD 14-11 to move to 3-0 on the season. The Skyhawks were led by Senior Kevin Harkey’s 5 goals and 2 assists. Freshman Bradey Hall was awarded the game ball for his outstanding 4 goal, 1 assist effort. The game was tied 4-4 in the first half, but the Fort took over the game with a 5-1 third quarter effort. The UCSD Tritons came back with a vengeance and some home field pride in the fourth quarter, bringing the score as close as 13-11 with just over two minutes left. Kevin Harkey and Paul Larson sealed the Fort victoey with a short-handed goal in transition with only 3 seconds left to play.
