Fort Lewis Lacrosse started off the season with a 9-11 loss at San Diego State. The game was hard fought and the greatly outnumbered Fort squad made an impressive showing in their season opener. A late run in the game gave the Fort momentum that they will carry over to their next game against Long Beach State.
