Hall of Fame Game 2014- Saturday, Oct. 19th

The final details are still rolling in, but the 3rd Fort Lax Alumni Game is shaping up to be the best one yet.

This year’s Fort Lewis Lacrosse Hall of Fame inductees include:

  • Chad Murphy, the program’s career leader in goals

  • John Robinette, former head coach and current RMLC president,

  • The Class of 1986, lacrosse pioneers who established Fort Lewis Lacrosse as a modern club lacrosse program.

The Hall of Fame Game will start at 4:00pm on Saturday, October 19th

Pregame and postgame photos, presentation of the Hall of Fame Plaque, and a pregame BBQ will highlight the afternoon, but there are other highlights:

This is the first year that the game will be played on Fort Lewis’ Homecoming weekend.

All games will take place at the Durango/La Plata County Fairgrounds, located next to the Durango Recreation Center, 2500 Main Street, Durango, CO 81301

If possible, Durango youth lacrosse teams will have games in the morning before the Alumni Game.  Long-time rivals Western State and the University of New Mexico will play at 2pm

Sunday at 11:oo am, Fort Lewis and UNM will scrimmage (Alumni players welcome!)

Sunday at 1:00 pm, Fort Lewis and Western will scrimmage (again, Alumni are welcome!)

It should be a good one, honoring the tradition of Fort Lax, while coming together to celebrate the present. I hope you all can make it!
